The protagonist of the series, John is a young college student who has been spending his college years getting drunk at fraternity parties, getting into fights, and going on simple dates with his girlfriend, Molly Rose. 

John is a member of the fraternity Psi Chi Kappa ΨΧΚ and rooms with his childhood friend, Lucas. Together, John and Lucas have been given the nicknames Crash and Burn. John is notorious for getting into arguments with the president of the fraternity, nicknamed Bishop.  

After tragedy struck during a ΨΧΚ party, John grieves from his loss and finds himself in some horrifying situations.
